A leading company specializing in heavy-duty equipment is seeking a commercially focused General Manager to drive sales and service in the UK. You will lead a team, manage a significant budget, and develop client relationships across various sectors. This field-based role requires strong leadership and sales experience, ideally within capital equipment manufacturing.
We are looking for a commercially focused General Manager to help move our sales and service offering forward in the UK. You will thrive on developing relationships with customers and improving and mentoring your staff. Based in the Midlands, but traveling throughout the UK, you should have experience in selling capital equipment and maintenance/service contracts.
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000

Location: Field-based role with office presence as required; ideally within 2 hours of Northampton. Suitable for candidates in Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Leicester, Luton, Oxford, Peterborough, Watford, Coventry.
As our General Manager, reporting to the UK Managing Director, you will replace the retiring General Manager and will oversee a business with a turnover of circa £7m, split between equipment sales and service revenue. You will have 5 direct and 15 indirect reports across the UK.
The ideal candidate will be a sales-focused people manager with a proven track record in developing accounts and influencing individuals. You should be experienced in client management and networking within the industry.
