Job summary

Urbanbubble Ltd. is seeking a General Manager to lead a flagship development in London, overseeing operations, lettings, resident satisfaction, and team leadership. You will drive budgets, set performance targets, and foster a high-energy, service-driven culture across a large team.

You will ensure safety compliance, quality resident experiences, and proactive reporting to clients while growing capability and sustaining exceptional standards in a vibrant community setting.

Qualifications

• Comparable property management experience (residential or hospitality)
• Strong understanding of building management and Health & Safety
• Proven ability to manage budgets effectively
• Excellent people management skills with experience leading large teams
• IRPM foundation level qualification (or willingness to work towards)

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of operational and financial management of the development
• Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the building and resident services
• Create and manage budgets to ensure efficiency and value
• Inspire and motivate a high-performing team with clear goals and continuous improvement
• Recruit, develop, and retain talent through effective coaching, one-to-ones, and reviews
• Foster a positive, performance-driven culture with excellent staff engagement
• Deliver an exceptional resident experience through high-quality customer service
• Implement a resident engagement strategy including events, communications, and feedback
• Maintain outstanding levels of resident satisfaction
• Provide health and safety oversight and ensure compliance across the building
• Contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly client reports
• Deliver lettings and occupancy KPIs in line with SLAs
• Monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Operational & Budgetary Management:

• Ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Provide a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Report on compliance and maintain standards across the building.

Performance and Reporting:

• Contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly client reports
• Deliver lettings and occupancy KPIs in line with service level agreements
• Monitor operational performance and ensure continuous improvement
