Jobs In. Fitness is opening a premium yoga studio in West London and is seeking a Studio General Manager to own pre-opening preparations and lead daily operations from launch onward.

An exciting opportunity to join a new premium yoga studio in West London as Studio General Manager, taking ownership of the day-to-day operation from launch onwards.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can set the standard, lead the team, deliver an exceptional member experience and ensure every detail of the studio is running as it should.

The Basics...

Working hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week with flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends depending on the needs of the business.

Joining ahead of the studio opening, the Studio General Manager will play a key role in bringing the space to life - from final launch preparations and team onboarding through to establishing the culture, standards and operating rhythm of the studio.

Once open, they will take full ownership of the day-to-day business, balancing commercial performance with an exceptional service experience. They will be visible on the floor, close to the team and members, and hands-on in solving problems and making things happen.

The Role:

Pre-opening + Launch:

• Take ownership of operational readiness ahead of launch, working closely with the wider team and suppliers.
• Establish clear processes, systems and standards across the studio.
• Recruit, onboard and develop the front of house team.
• Support teacher onboarding, scheduling and studio preparation.
• Be hands-on throughout launch, ensuring the studio opens smoothly and to a high standard.

Studio Leadership + Operations:

• Own the day-to-day running of the studio, from FOH and team rhythm to suppliers, maintenance and operational follow-through.
• Lead, motivate and develop the team, creating clear expectations and accountability.
• Maintain consistently high standards across presentation, cleanliness, service and studio experience.
• Manage rotas, holiday requests, stock and studio supplies.
• Work closely with teachers to ensure classes and the wider studio experience run seamlessly.
• Take ownership of health & safety and operational compliance.
• Identify issues quickly, make sound decisions and follow through to resolution.

Member Experience + Commercial Performance:

• Create a warm, polished and highly personalised member experience.
• Monitor attendance, memberships, retention and wider studio performance.
• Contribute to membership growth through local partnerships, events and community initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve both the member experience and commercial performance.
• Use data and insight to inform decisions and continuously improve the studio.

The Person

• Experienced managing a yoga, Pilates, fitness, wellness or premium hospitality environment, ideally with 3–5 years' relevant experience.
• A confident people leader who can create structure, accountability and a strong team culture.
• Commercially aware, service-led and genuinely operational — someone who takes ownership rather than waits to be told what to do.
• Comfortable working in a live opening environment where priorities move quickly and problems need solving.
• Polished and professional without being performative; warm, confident and humble.
• Naturally curious, detail-oriented and highly observant.
• Calm under pressure, with good judgement and the ability to bring clarity to a busy environment.
• Hands-on and visible, with no hesitation getting stuck into the detail or stepping onto the floor.
• Someone with energy and personality who genuinely cares about creating a great studio, team and member community.
• Experience with booking platforms such as Momence, MarianaTek or Mindbody is desirable.
