Greene King is seeking a General Manager for the Baron of Beef in Cambridge. You will lead the team, drive sales and cultivate a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere that keeps customers returning.

Qualifications

• Previous GM, Pub Manager or senior Assistant Manager experience.
• Experience leading a busy hospitality, retail or leisure operation.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to identify opportunities to grow sales.
• Ability to recruit, coach and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• High standards and attention to detail.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable customer experiences.
• Personal Licence, or ability to obtain one.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a confident, commercially minded pub leader who loves being at the heart of a busy operation.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a General Manager, Pub Manager or experienced Assistant Manager ready for their next step.
• Experience leading a busy hospitality, retail or leisure business.
• A strong commercial mindset and an eye for opportunities to drive sales and profitability.
• The ability to recruit, coach and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• High standards and attention to detail.
• The confidence to make decisions, take ownership and get stuck in.
