They have developed two world-class sites across the Bradford area and are renowned for developing and looking after their employees. A unique opportunity has become available to lead a rapidly growing business unit in a senior role as General Manager.

The Role

The General Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of production, projects, and commercial teams. Some key responsibilities include:

• Lead and mentor direct reports enabling them to achieve their full potential and fostering a positive environment.
• Drive and engage business development strategies to ensure opportunities are maximised.
• Measure and manage costs and revenue to justify business decisions and present these to stakeholders where necessary.
• Oversee key projects from inception to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and internal safety are prioritised.
• Analyse projects to ensure costs remain accurate and deadlines are achievable.
• Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and accreditations is maintained.
• Brief, coordinate, and direct subcontractors to ensure an efficient and seamless process.
• Have a strategic view of problem-solving prior to challenges arising.
• Develop and manage the supply chain, looking for improved opportunities.
• Analyse, manage, and mitigate risks.

The Candidate

As the General Manager, you will:

• Have experience and a track record of success in general management.
• Preferably have worked in a manufacturing, industrial, or construction environment.
• Have experience in engineering including rules, regulations, and quality standards.
