Job summary

The Hotel Folk is seeking a General Manager for The White Lion Hotel in Aldeburgh. You will oversee operations across 38 rooms and two restaurants, Sea Spice and The White Lion Brasserie, driving guest satisfaction and staff engagement.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead a team, develop sales and business strategies, and ensure financial discipline while delivering a 'blow-your-socks-off' hospitality experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of employee engagement and driving guest satisfaction.
• Background in sales, business development and sound financial experience within the Hospitality sector.
• Strong track record in proactively growing sales from new and existing guests and leading a team.

In addition to joining The Hotel Folk, we have an opportunity for a General Manager to lead one of our coastal properties, The White Lion Hotel in Aldeburgh.

As General Manager, you will oversee the hotel comprising 38 rooms and two restaurants - Sea Spice and The White Lion Brasserie. You will need to have proven experience of employee engagement and driving guest satisfaction.

You will need to be able to create and nurture an environment that emphasises motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing great service.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will have a background in sales, business development and sound financial experience within the Hospitality sector. A strong track record in proactively growing sales from new and existing guests plus the ability to lead a team of Folk to deliver a "blow-your-socks-off" hospitality experience.

You will have a passion and drive to take the business forward, be an accomplished communicator with a warm and welcoming personality, have exceptional attention to detail, immaculate presentation and a passion for developing strong mutually beneficial partnerships.
