Job summary

Kingdom Services Group is seeking an experienced General Machinist for a hands-on role in New Milton. The ideal candidate will operate conventional Tool Room machinery, read technical drawings and work from start to finish with ownership and precision.

The position requires time-served experience, 5+ years in a Tool Room, and proficiency with manual lathes and milling machines, drills, bandsaws, grinders, and inspection tools. AMechanical Engineering Apprenticeship is preferred.

Qualifications

Substantial hands-on machining experience.
Time-served engineer with Tool Room experience.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Knowledge of GD&T and engineering measurement techniques.
Experience with micrometers, calipers and gauges.

Responsibilities

Set and operate conventional/manual Tool Room machinery.
Operate manual lathes, mills, drills, bandsaws and grinders.
Manufacture components and tooling to engineering and quality specs.
Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
Maintain dimensional inspection and use measuring equipment.
Follow documented process controls and collaborate with Quality/Production teams.
