Metalis are currently working alongside an established manufacturer based in Leeds who are currently recruiting for a General Machinist to join their busy production & engineering team.

Candidates with CNC laser experience are preferred, but those with general CNC operating experience within manufacturing, production or engineering are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating CNC machinery within a production environment.
• Reading engineering drawings and following specifications.
• Carrying out quality checks and ensuring accuracy.
• Meeting production targets and maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Previous CNC experience within manufacturing or engineering.
• Laser cutting experience advantageous but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and a reliable attitude.

Working Hours:

• Days: 6:00am-2:30pm
• Afternoons: 2:00pm-10:30pm
• Rotating every two weeks, Monday to Friday
