Job summary

Reliable Contractors Limited is recruiting a General Labourer for a site-based role in Plymouth, working Monday to Friday on a major MOD redevelopment project. The position is PAYE, with 30 days holiday per year and a 45-hour week from 07:30 to 17:00.

Ideal candidates will hold a Green CSCS Labourer Card, have health and safety awareness, and be reliable with a proactive approach. BPSS clearance is required and NATO/MISWG passport holders who have UK residence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have CSCS Labourer Card (Green) and pass BPSS checks.
• Experience on construction or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labouring duties across the project.
• Assist tradespeople and site teams with daily activities.
• Load, unload and move materials around site safely.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and free from hazards.
• Assist with setting up and maintaining work areas.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and site management.
• Comply with all Health & Safety procedures and site rules.
• Support the delivery of major MOD infrastructure works.

General Labourer (Plymouth) – Fulltime

An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years.

PAYE basis

Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)

This role is site based - Monday to Friday

45 hours per week 07:30am - 17:00pm

Must Have

• Green CSCS Labourer Card
• Previous experience working on construction or infrastructure projects preferred
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
• Reliable and proactive approach to work
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties
• Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance
• Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years
