Job summary

Coinford Holdings Ltd in Margate is seeking reliable General Labourers to support our groundwork teams on sites across Margate. You will assist tradespeople, help with material handling, keep work areas safe and stocked to support programme delivery.

The role offers ongoing work on groundwork and concrete frame projects, chances to move into more skilled roles, and access to further training and tickets where required by sites. Weekly pay and competitive rates apply.

Qualifications

• CSCS Labourer card or GQA Labourer with relevant experience.
• CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Forward Tipping Dumper.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assisting tradespeople with material handling, site preparation and general maintenance tasks.
• Replenishing materials and maintaining clean, safe site conditions.
• Ensuring safe access routes are maintained at all times.
• Working safely around live services and following health & safety protocols.
• Carrying out daily pre-start safety checks on equipment.
• Reporting maintenance requirements to site management.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for reliable General Labourers to support our groundwork teams on sites across Margate. You will assist tradespeople across a variety of site tasks, keeping work areas safe and materials well stocked to support programme delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting tradespeople with material handling, site preparation and general maintenance tasks
• Replenishing materials and maintaining clean, safe site conditions
• Ensuring safe access routes are maintained at all times
• Working safely around live services and following health & safety protocols
• Carrying out daily pre-start safety checks on equipment
• Reporting maintenance requirements to site management

REQUIREMENTS

• CSCS Labourer card or GQA Labourer with relevant experience
• CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Forward Tipping Dumper
• Strong understanding of general labouring tasks on construction sites
• Proactive with good time management skills
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
• Right to work in the UK

DESIRABLE

• CPCS / NPORS* Ride-On Roller
• CAT & Genny Training
• Safety Critical Medical
• 1–2+ years of construction labouring experience
