Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a General Labourer to join a busy manufacturing environment in Madeley. The role supports the production team by preparing materials for welders, moving stock, and keeping the workspace orderly.

Full training is provided for the right candidate with a practical mindset and reliable attitude. Hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm and Friday 6:00am–1:00pm, with a pay rise upon successful completion of probation.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• FLT (Forklift Truck) licence is desirable.
• Overhead crane licence is advantageous.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Job description

A General Labourer is required in Madeley for a full-time, permanent position paying £12.71 per hour, with a pay rise available upon successful completion of probation. Working Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm and Friday from 6:00am to 1:00pm, you will support a production team by preparing materials for welders, moving stock, and maintaining an orderly workspace. Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience is beneficial, though full training is provided. The role suits someone with practical common sense and a reliable attitude. You will help ensure materials are accessible and assist with general production duties.
