Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd in Warwick is seeking a General Operative to join the production team in a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment.

The position involves supporting manufacturing, packaging and dispatch, maintaining quality and safety standards, and undergoing full training to develop a long-term career in manufacturing. Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with opportunities for skill development.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or production experience is advantageous.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable with strong work ethic.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit with manual handling duties.
• Must hold a full UK licence and have a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with manufacturing and production activities.

• Load and unload materials safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

The Role

This is a hands-on role working within a busy production environment, supporting manufacturing, packaging and dispatch operations while maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping and health & safety.

Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within manufacturing.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting with manufacturing and production activities.
• Preparing materials ready for production.
• Filling, labelling and packaging finished products.
• Carrying out basic quality inspections.
• Loading and unloading materials safely.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Supporting other departments as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
