Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a General Kitchen Assistant at Oasis Academy Skinner Street, Gillingham. This part-time role pays £13.45 per hour and runs 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11:00am–14:15pm, term-time only with 39 weeks per year.

You’ll join a supportive team, help with food preparation and serving, and keep kitchens and dining areas clean, while following hygiene and safety standards. Full training provided.

About the Role

As a General Kitchen Assistant, you’ll support the day-to-day running of a busy food service operation. From preparing and serving food to keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and organised, you’ll help ensure everything runs smoothly.

You’ll work as part of a supportive team delivering great service while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Additional Information

Term Time Only – Equated Pay
This role works 39 weeks per year. Your salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months, meaning you receive consistent pay throughout the year, including during school closure periods.
