An exciting opportunity has recently become available for a Clinical Application Specialist – General Imaging Ultrasound, to join our Ultrasound team.
Whether coming from a pure clinical background or having already made the shift in to the commercial world, your clinical experience within General Imaging, and customer centric approach will be highly valued.
In this role, you have the opportunity to significantly contribute to growing our General Imaging Ultrasound business, customer satisfaction and after sales support by demonstrating the Philips Cardiac Ultrasound products and training new and existing users on our Ultrasound equipment to ensure full appreciation of its use. You will work with a broad spectrum of stakeholders and customers and play a pivotal role in the ongoing success of our Ultrasound business.
This position is for South West & Wales territory, field basedand you must be willing to travel and at times support others within the wider team. If you are not currently located in this territory, we would need you to have plans to relocate.
You are a part of a team of 15 ultrasound clinical application specialists reporting into the Business Line Manager and with additional support from the Ultrasound Clinical Applications team leader.
Your role:
Demonstration of General Imaging Ultrasound products at customer sites or hospitals and at conferences/exhibits. Assisting Sales Specialists by providing specialist support to ensure that all equipment is demonstrated to best advantage.
You will manage post sales customer product training both at customer sites/hospitals and at Philips customer optimization days.
Following training schedules for the complete range of equipment and train customers in the use of our Ultrasound products, and to provide a formal applications report on completion of all applications visits.
You will maintain contact with existing users ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction and confidence in using Philips Ultrasound equipment.
You will ensure all clinical applications training, with both new and existing US customers, aligns with the Company's Quality Policy.
Providing feedback to business/marketing management with information on reference sites system performance, competitors’ products, customer reactions and sales initiatives.
Liaising with the Product Management Group's applications team to ensure that the latest US information is available for Users, including attending international meetings where appropriate.
Providing support at courses delivered by our key accounts/customers.
Assisting the Business Line Manager in all aspects of marketing, sales and promotion of ourGeneral Imaging Ultrasound equipment and provide specialist sales support to the account managers when required.
You’re right for the role if:
You have a full UK driving license and wiliness to travel extensively a must have
You have successfully completed your Post Graduate studies in Sonography or Clinical Science
You are currently a British Society of Echocardiology member
In-depth clinical experience within General Imaging
Capability to train others on Ultrasound equipment
Excellent communication skills and positive relationship builder.
