Job Title: General Imaging Ultrasound Clinical Applications Specialist

Role Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Application Specialist in General Imaging Ultrasound to join our Ultrasound team. Your clinical experience and customer-centric approach will be highly valued, whether coming from a pure clinical background or transitioning into the commercial sector.

You will contribute to the growth of our General Imaging Ultrasound business, enhance customer satisfaction, and support after-sales service by demonstrating Philips Cardiac Ultrasound products and training users to maximize equipment utilization. This role involves working with a broad range of stakeholders and customers and is pivotal to our Ultrasound business success.

This position covers the South West & Wales territory, is field-based, and requires willingness to travel. Candidates not currently residing in this territory should have plans to relocate.

You will be part of a team of 15 ultrasound clinical application specialists, reporting to the Business Line Manager and supported by the Ultrasound Clinical Applications team leader.

Your Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate General Imaging Ultrasound products at customer sites, hospitals, conferences, and exhibits, supporting sales teams to showcase equipment effectively.
• Manage post-sales customer training at hospitals and during Philips customer optimization days.
• Follow training schedules for all equipment ranges and provide formal application reports after visits.
• Maintain ongoing contact with users to ensure customer satisfaction and confidence in Philips Ultrasound equipment.
• Align clinical applications training with the company's Quality Policy for both new and existing customers.
• Provide feedback on system performance, competitor products, customer reactions, and sales initiatives to management.
• Collaborate with the Product Management Group to ensure users have access to the latest US information, including attending international meetings when appropriate.
• Support courses delivered by key accounts and customers.
• Assist the Business Line Manager with marketing, sales, and promotion of Ultrasound equipment and provide specialist support to account managers as needed.

Candidate Profile:

• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
• Postgraduate studies in Sonography or Clinical Science.
• Membership in the British Society of Echocardiology.
• In-depth clinical experience in General Imaging.
• Ability to train others on Ultrasound equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and relationship-building abilities.
