Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a qualified General Cover Teacher (QTS) for day-to-day supply in Castle Cary. The role offers full flexibility, with pre-planned lessons and no marking responsibilities, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.

You will support Key Stage 3–4 across subjects, with the right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS. Competitive daily pay (£130–£160) and weekly PAYE payments are provided.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS is essential.
• Strong classroom management and adaptability across different subject areas.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Right to work in the UK.

This is a purely day-to-day role, giving you full control over your work-life balance-simply turn up, teach pre-planned lessons, and leave at the end of the school day.
