Job summary

HMS Stonebridge Office is seeking an experienced General Construction Operative for a permanent role. You will carry out a broad range of general construction tasks across domestic and communal environments, both internal and external, with emphasis on safety and quality. Must have a Full UK or EU driving licence.

NVQ Level 2 in Construction or Maintenance is desirable. The package includes a company van, fuel card and benefits, plus training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, environmental clearance, property clearance or general labouring.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible approach and willingness to undertake varied duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general construction tasks across internal and external areas.
• Undertake clearance, environmental cleaning, demolition and groundworks.
• Install and maintain fencing and assist with painting and remedial work.
• Support tradespeople to achieve first-time quality.
• Plan work efficiently and manage materials and equipment.
• Complete paperwork and compliance records; drive company vehicle.
