Job summary

Bridgeview Special School in Hull is seeking a General Catering Assistant to join our catering team. You will help maintain a clean kitchen, wash crockery during service, and assist with serving meals to pupils, staff and visitors.

The role is 22.5 hours per week, term-time only (195 days per year), with on-site training provided and a DBS check required. You will work as part of a supportive catering team committed to creating a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience would be an advantage.
• On-site training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean kitchen including washing crockery during service.
• Serve meals to pupils, staff and visitors.
• Assist with clearing the dining hall after service.

General Catering Assistant

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, team player to join our catering team at Bridgeview Special School & Whitehouse PRU. The role involves maintaining a clean kitchen including washing crockery during service, serving meals to our pupils, staff and visitors, and assisting with the clearing of the dining hall following service.

Previous experience would be an advantage; however full on-site training will be provided.
