As a Catering Assistant, you will support the Catering Manager in providing a safe, welcoming and efficient dining experience. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving nutritious meals, setting up and clearing dining areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, washing up, and supporting stock control and record-keeping processes. You will also play an important role in ensuring food safety standards are met and that pupil allergen requirements are followed carefully at all times.
The successful candidate will be a positive team player with good communication skills, a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellent customer service. Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is desirable, although we welcome applications from individuals who are willing to learn and develop their skills through training and professional development opportunities.
