Job summary

Holroyd Howe seeks a General Catering Assistant in Harrogate to support school dining services during term-time. You will join a friendly team, with two shift options (10:30-2:45 or 11:00-3:15), Monday to Friday. The role covers serving meals, hall setup, and cleaning across the main dining hall and prep school.

Salary is £12.71 per hour with holiday pay, paid over 12 months. Free lunch, parking and uniform provided; accessible by car or public transport from surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Must be resident and have the right to work in the UK.
• Must pass an enhanced DBS check.
• Experience of catering in a school environment is desirable.
• Some knowledge of Health & Safety & Food Safety is desirable.
• Fit and able to carry out the light manual handling involved in this role.

We are a friendly, welcoming team at Ashville College, Harrogate. You will join us Monday- Friday, during term-time only. Two shift choices to suit you, either 10.30-2.45 or 11-3.15.

Your job will be varied because you will help us to serve lunch in our main school Dining Hall and our smaller Pre-prep school as required.

We're easily accessible by car or public transport from Harrogate or Leeds. Free parking, free lunch, free family access to the Sports Centre and swimming pool, free uniform and shoes provided.

Salary is £12.71 per hour + holiday pay, paid equally over 12 months.
