Job summary

dnata Catering UK at London Gatwick is seeking a General Assistant to join our busy team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will help ensure timely delivery of catering and goods to airline customers, supporting production, stock handling and on-site services to meet scheduling requirements.

You will work in areas such as Production, Equipment, Wash and Stock control, handling pork and alcohol, standing for long periods, and working in a chilled environment with basic English.

Qualifications

• Be able to handle pork and alcohol products.
• Stand for long periods and have good mobility.
• Be prepared to work in a chilled environment.
• Have a basic understanding of English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate food in production areas.
• Handle packed food goods and pack amenity kits/flight condiments.
• Wash and clean airline equipment to industry standards.
• Inspect goods for prohibited items and check stock for damages; complete paperwork.
