Job summary

JD Gyms is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness across our budget gym locations and support a welcoming member experience.

You will carry out daily, weekly and monthly cleaning and safety checks, report defects, ensure brand standards and help deliver outstanding service to members.

This role requires hard work, attention to detail, and the ability to work unsupervised while communicating effectively with staff and gym users.

Qualifications

• Hard worker with strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detail.
• Passion for exceeding expectations in a service environment.
• Experience in a similar role with ability to multi-task and work unsupervised.
• Effective communication and approachability with members and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook.
• Maintain JD Gyms Brand Standard across the facility.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report defects to keep building and equipment safe to use.
• Ensure the gym facility is maintained to the highest cleanliness standard.
• Uphold uniform standards and personal presentation.
• Deliver outstanding member service at all times.
• Participate in colleague training videos to support consistent standards.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for cleanliness and can play an integral part in our gym team. We need someone with meticulous cleaning standards that can balance interacting with our members whilst getting the job done.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.

• Responsible for adhering to and maintaining the JD Gyms Brand Standard.

• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.

• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.

• To ensure the whole of the gym facility is of the highest standard of cleanliness.

• To ensure uniform standards are being adhered to by yourself.

• To always deliver outstanding member service.

• To participate in colleague training videos to assist in the delivery of exceptional standards across the group.

• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
