Job summary

Imagine Independence is seeking a Female Specialist Support Worker in Salford, Greater Manchester. The role focuses on women with complex needs within a gender-specific supported living setting, applying trauma-informed, therapeutic approaches.

You will work with experienced teams, using Hope and Recovery Model and Cognitive Analytic Therapy models. DBS enhanced clearance is required, with a 37.5-hour week and 2 days/2 nights on a rolling 4-on-4-off rota.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting women from forensic or mental health services as part of a team.
• Willingness to engage with extensive training program.
• Ability to align with Imagine Independence values and person-centred approach.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is required for this post.

Responsibilities

• Support women in a specialist gender-specific setting for complex needs.
• Work with Service Managers using Hope and Recovery Model and CAT models of care.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to promote recovery and independence.
