Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Belfast is seeking a GenAI Security Engineer to design and implement a secure GenAI prompt platform within the GenAI Security team.

You will collaborate with Cloud Tech Services, Engineering and Operations to protect firm AI/LLM applications and work with vendor products. The role emphasizes security-by-design, scalable deployments, and cross-time zone collaboration with Citi teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience of the full lifecycle of design, implementation and running of enterprise software solutions.
• Experience in Generative AI, LLM frameworks, prompt engineering and/or adversarial testing is a bonus.
• Expertise in designing and implementing secure APIs and libraries.
• Experience with DevSecOps or MLSecOps.
• Experience contributing to architecture, design, reliability and scaling.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, optimizing, and enhancing a GenAI prompt security platform.
• Building and automating a security testing framework for diverse LLM use cases.
• Owning scalable solutions that operate across the organisation.
• Collaborating with Engineering, Operations and Citi partner teams across time zones.
