Job summary

Synapri in London is seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer to design, develop and safeguard GenAI prompt security platforms and enterprise AI security solutions. You will build secure APIs and security libraries while integrating with Engineering, Cyber Security and Operations teams across the globe.

The role focuses on protecting enterprise AI applications from prompt injections, adversarial attacks and emerging threats.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering or related technical discipline.
• Strong programming experience in Python and/or Go.
• Background in Cyber Security Engineering, DevSecOps or MLSecOps.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLM frameworks, prompt engineering or adversarial testing.
• Experience in enterprise architecture and system design.
• Experience with containerised environments (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer to join a leading global financial institution, working on the development and security of the organisation's next-generation Generative AI and LLM-based applications.

This is a specialist engineering role focused on designing, developing and enhancing a GenAI prompt security platform, helping protect enterprise AI applications from prompt injection, adversarial attacks and emerging AI security threats.

You will work closely with Engineering, Cyber Security and Operations teams across the organisation to build secure, scalable solutions and automated security testing capabilities for a range of LLM use cases.

Key Responsibilities

Key Requirements

• Experience with Generative AI, LLM frameworks, prompt engineering and/or adversarial testing.
• Experience contributing to enterprise architecture and system design.
• Strong understanding of security, reliability, scalability and enterprise software development.
• Experience working with containerised environments, such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Experience delivering solutions across large and complex enterprise environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
