Citigroup London is seeking a Lead Forward Deployed AI Engineer to provide senior technical leadership, architecting and delivering sophisticated, production-grade AI agent systems for critical banking workflows. You will own the system design across enterprise platforms, ensure secure and reliable agent architectures, and mentor engineers to elevate engineering standards.

Formación

• Extensive software engineering experience with backend and distributed systems.
• Proven track record building and deploying production-grade LLM and agentic AI apps.
• Expert-level Python skills, asyncio and complex workflows.
• Experience with Docker and OpenShift for containerized deployments.
• Proven ability to integrate enterprise APIs, databases and event-streaming (Kafka).
• Knowledge of secure agent execution environments and zero-trust principles.
• Ability to mentor engineers and set high software quality standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architecture and hands-on delivery in embedded business engineering teams.
• Design end-to-end agentic workflows using Python, ADK, LangGraph and Arc platform.
• Engineer integrations between AI agents and core banking systems and APIs.
• Design secure, resilient agent execution environments with mTLS and OAuth2.
• Drive architecture reviews, security assessments and mentoring of engineers.
• Partner with architects and stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges.
• Contribute reusable architectures and components to Citi's AI platform.
• Champion responsible AI and governance requirements.
