• Solid knowledge of web services testing validating requests responses headers and payloads.
• Advanced API testing using Postman and SoapUI to design collections and environments.
• Structured query language skills to validate data accuracy across joins.
• Experience with Rest interfaces including methods status codes and error handling patterns.
• Familiarity with recovery and collection processes to interpret business rules and risk scenarios.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills suited to a hybrid work model.
• Disciplined documentation habits with well-structured test cases and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Drive comprehensive test strategy design for complex web services and APIs to ensure stable delivery.
• Coordinate test planning across agile squads aligning scope timelines and quality with product goals.
• Design detailed test cases and reusable scenarios for REST-based services and integrations.
• Execute manual and automated tests for APIs using Postman and SoapUI across environments.
• Analyze test results and defects to identify root causes and uplift quality.
• Manage test assets in Git/GitHub with branches and traceability between requirements and tests.
• Collaborate with developers product analysts and operations in agile ceremonies.
• Validate backend data integrity using SQL queries and data transformations.
• Develop and maintain regression suites for critical REST services and workflows.
• Implement data strategies to accelerate tests with realistic coverage datasets.
• Monitor quality metrics and provide insights into release readiness and improvements.
• Mentor junior testers by sharing best practices and improving standards.
• Prepare status reports and risk summaries highlighting issues and mitigations.
• Align testing activities with business goals to improve customer experiences.
