Job summary

LGT Wealth Management UK LLP seeks a senior QA leader to drive the quality strategy across our wealth-management platforms, balancing manual and automated testing with risk-based prioritisation and stakeholder reporting.

You will own test planning, automation framework development (Playwright/Cypress/Selenium), and collaboration with Development and DevOps to embed quality gates in CI/CD, while coaching QA engineers and delivering measurable improvements in coverage and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related field.
• ISTQB Advanced or comparable QA certification desirable.
• 7+ years in software quality assurance with hands-on testing experience.
• Strong automation background with test-automation strategy and framework scaling.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and defect triage.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead QA approach, automation strategy, and quality objectives.
• Plan and execute manual, automated, functional and non-functional testing.
• Own automation framework, build reusable test utilities, integrate into CI/CD.
• Provide coaching and guidance to QA engineers and report quality metrics.
• Collaborate with DevOps, developers, and product managers to mitigate risks.
