Job summary

Client Server Limited in London seeks a Senior Software Engineer to work on GenAI, LLM-based RAG workflows and MCP-style integrations. You will prototype and engineer GenAI capabilities, collaborating with Investment Analysts on internal tools.

The role is hybrid with three days in the office, offering a 12‑month fixed-term contract and a salary up to £180k. Strong Python and GenAI experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Investment Management or financial services with Front Office exposure.
• Advanced Python skills and GenAI development experience.
• Proven ability to build GenAI apps and RAG workflows.
• Experience integrating APIs and LLM SDKs into workflows.
• Experience evaluating GenAI outputs with users.
• Experience with agentic coding tools like Claude Code or Codex.
• STEM degree with 2.1+ from a top-tier university.

Responsibilities

• Prototype, evaluate and engineer GenAI workflows and RAG systems.
• Collaborate with Investment Analysts to turn ideas into internal tools.
• Design and run user-driven evaluations of GenAI systems and grounding.
