Job summary

Citigroup in Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, seeks a senior software engineering leader to drive design and delivery of enterprise-scale applications for large user populations.

You will remain hands-on with architecture and reviews while setting direction across frontend, backend, APIs and cloud services. The role partners with senior stakeholders to align platform strategy and deliver high-impact programmes.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of software engineering teams in hands-on roles.
• Experience with Python, Go, TypeScript/JavaScript or React.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience building cloud-native applications using Kubernetes, containers, microservices.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, resiliency, scalability and performance.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL, API design and integration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Growth mindset with mentoring and developing technical talent.
