Job summary

Deloitte in London is seeking a hands-on GenAI Architect to design and deliver end-to-end AI-enabled financial crime solutions. You will shape the architecture, define agentic workflows, prompts and data pipelines, while coding in Python/TypeScript and leading a multi-disciplinary team.

You will work with cutting-edge tools, maintain strong design artefacts, and ensure robust testing, CI/CD and observability. Hybrid working in London is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and shipping software/AI solutions end to end.
• Strong system-design skills across front end, back end, APIs, data and observability.
• Hands-on experience building GenAI applications with tool-use and orchestration.
• Practical prompt engineering for production with structured outputs.

Responsibilities

• Architect the full solution and decide where AI sits (front/back end, APIs, and data stores).
• Design agentic workflows, prompts and evaluation strategies.
• Build and own data pipelines, ingestion and embedding processes.
• Lead development with AI coding tools, testing and CI practices.
• Mentor others and communicate complex designs to technical and non-technical audiences.
