Job summary

EY UK seeks a Manager, AI Architect specializing in generative AI to lead GenAI solution design and delivery for clients. You will own architecture, lead a small delivery team, and ensure production readiness across engagements.

Design solutions with LLMs, RAG pipelines, prompt orchestration, and agentic workflows, while ensuring security, governance, and cost efficiency. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on delivery of enterprise GenAI initiatives and production-grade systems.
• Experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and orchestration frameworks.
• Proven ability to design RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Strong prompt engineering, evaluation, and guardrail practices.
• Experience with cloud GenAI platforms and model governance.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and technical delivery of a GenAI solution area or workstream.
• Lead a small cross-functional delivery team through the delivery lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-aware in production.
• Design generative AI solutions including LLM selection and prompt orchestration.
• Communicate technical decisions clearly to project stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure delivery quality and timelines.
