Capgemini in the UK is seeking an Interaction Designer to deliver user-centred designs for public sector and other clients. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create accessible interfaces aligned with GDS standards and agile delivery methods.

The role emphasizes presenting concepts, building rapid prototypes, workshops, and stakeholder engagement, with opportunities to influence digital services across government and private sector projects.

Qualifications

Experience with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards or equivalent enterprise standards.
Ability to apply user-centred interaction design methods within complex technology programmes.
Strong analytical thinking and clear written and verbal communication.
Solid grounding in user-centred design from concept to delivery.
Familiarity with collaborating with agile delivery teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design and present concepts and user interfaces with annotations for IA, navigation and flows.
Identify user needs using diverse techniques and translate stories into user-centred design approaches.
Create accessible, high-impact products and services; document research findings and insights.
Develop interactive prototypes and work with product, business and technology teams to embed UX practices.
Facilitate workshops, resolve design disputes, and support junior designers.
