Job summary

Capgemini in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Interaction Designer to deliver user-centered designs for public sector and government projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create accessible interfaces, document interactions, and align with GDS standards in an agile, fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, proficiency with Figma/Adobe XD, and the ability to prototype using HTML/CSS/JS.

Qualifications

Experience with Government Digital Service (GDS) or equivalent enterprise design standards.
Experience applying user-centered interaction design within complex tech environments.
Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
Grounding in user-centered design from concept to delivery.
Ability to work with agile delivery teams and accommodate data/tech considerations.

Responsibilities

Design and present concepts and user interfaces, including annotations for IA, navigation and flows.
Use techniques to understand users and translate stories into evidence-based design approaches.
Create accessible, compelling products and services and prototypes.
Collaborate with product, business and technology teams to embed interaction design practices.
