Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a GCSE Tutor to work with pupils in a welcoming secondary school in Bury. You will provide targeted one-to-one or small-group support across GCSE Maths, English and Science, helping pupils close gaps and prepare for GCSE exams.

Experience in schools or educational settings is essential. The role suits tutors, teaching assistants, graduates with relevant experience, and offers a flexible ongoing placement with rates of £20–£40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have previous experience working within a school or educational setting.
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English and/or Science.
• Experience supporting pupils with their academic development.
• Ability to explain complex topics clearly and confidently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, supportive and encouraging approach.
• Ability to adapt tutoring sessions to individual pupil needs.
• Genuine passion for helping young people succeed.

Responsibilities
