Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking dedicated GCSE Tutors to provide face-to-face 1:1 tuition across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes. Tutors will work with students who may have EHCPs and require intervention in English, Maths and Science.

Ideal candidates include qualified teachers, experienced tutors, graduates or education professionals who are passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve GCSE goals. Flexible opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching GCSE-level students.
• Strong understanding of the English, Maths or Science curriculum.
• Experience supporting SEND/SEMH or additional learning needs.
• Knowledge of EHCPs and strategies to support individual learning plans.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Patient, flexible and empathetic approach.
• Driving licence desirable.

GCSE Tutor (English, Maths & Science) – 1:1 Tuition

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated and passionate GCSE Tutors to support students across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes through 1:1, face-to-face tuition. Working through local authority referrals, you will provide personalised academic support to students who require additional intervention in English, Maths and Science. Many of the young people you will work with will have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and may have experienced significant disruption to their education. This rewarding opportunity is ideal for qualified teachers, experienced tutors, graduates, or education professionals who are passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their GCSE goals.
