Job summary

Prospero Teaching is hiring GCSE tutors for flexible, part-time 1:1 Maths and English tutoring during term time. Sessions run within school hours (9am-3pm), with up to 30 hours per week and ASAP start. Competitive pay of GBP25-GBP30 per hour depends on experience.

The role requires at least 2 years of GCSE tutoring and a solid understanding of Maths and English. DBS Update Service or willingness to apply is expected, and driving licence with vehicle access is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of GCSE tutoring experience.
• Strong understanding of GCSE Maths and English.
• QTS is desirable but not essential for those with solid GCSE tutoring experience.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 GCSE Maths and English tuition to students.
• Support learners to achieve GCSE targets during school hours.
• Coordinate sessions within term-time schedule on a flexible basis.
• Adapt teaching to individual student needs and progress.
