Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified QTS Tutor to deliver GCSE Maths and English tuition with flexible hours in Surrey.

The role is a Temporary | Part-Time position offering engaging lessons, progress checks, and a supportive learning environment for diverse GCSE cohorts.

Applicants must hold QTS, have the right to work in the UK, and be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check. Experience with SEN/SEMH is a plus.

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned tuition in Maths and English up to GCSE level.
• Plan and deliver personalised lessons that meet individual learning needs.
• Support students with a range of abilities, including those with additional learning needs.
• Monitor progress, set achievable targets, and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and motivating learning environment.
