Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a GCSE Tutor to deliver engaging sessions in English, Maths or Science, assess learners, and plan tailored lessons for GCSE students at Liverpool. The role includes supporting revision strategies and tracking progress under a temporary contract.

Ideal candidates have GCSE-level subject expertise, experience with secondary students, and excellent communication skills; Enhanced DBS is preferred or willingness to obtain one. Flexible hours available.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge at GCSE level or equivalent.
• Experience tutoring or working with secondary school students.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging GCSE tuition sessions in English, Maths or Science.
• Assess students' current levels and identify areas for improvement.
• Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs.
• Help students develop effective revision and exam techniques.
• Track progress and provide feedback on student development.
