Job summary

Get Further is seeking passionate tutors to deliver small-group Maths tuition (1-3 students) at partner colleges in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. You’ll use our curriculum and track student progress, helping them build confidence and exam readiness.

The role runs weekdays 9-5pm on-campus at partner colleges with mandatory two-day training in July/Aug 2026 and tutoring from October. Driving is helpful for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Strong Maths knowledge (GCSE + A-level or equivalent).
• Confident communicator who can engage students.
• Reliable, resilient, organised, and committed.
• Able to commit to sessions the same day each week.
• Experience teaching or tutoring is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small-group tuition (1-3 students) in Maths.
• Use our ready-made curriculum and resources.
• Support students to build confidence, skills, and exam readiness.
• Track attendance and progress.
• You'll teach on-campus at partner colleges or training providers, during college hours (weekdays 9-5pm).
