Job summary

Get Further is seeking passionate tutors to support students in further education to pass GCSE English and maths or Functional Skills, unlocking opportunities in work, apprenticeships, and university. Tutors deliver small-group sessions (1-3 students) using ready-made curricula, on-campus at partner colleges, during college hours, 9-5pm.

Successful applicants will join a UK-based role with mandatory training and ongoing development through the Tutor Academy, plus access to ready-to-use lesson

Qualifications

• Passion for tackling educational inequality.
• Strong knowledge in English or maths (GCSE + A-level or equivalent).
• Currently studying or completed a degree (2:2 or above).
• Confident communicator who can engage students.
• Willing to commit to sessions the same day each week.
• Right to work in the UK; travel to placement or teach online if required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small-group tuition (1-3 students) in English or Maths.
• Use our ready-made curriculum and resources.
• Support students to build confidence, skills, and exam readiness.
• Track attendance and progress.
• Teach on-campus at partner colleges or training providers, during college hours (weekdays 9-5pm).
