TeacherActive is seeking an experienced GCSE Maths teacher to join a mainstream college in Warwickshire. The role focuses on supporting learners resitting their GCSE Maths, rebuilding confidence, and closing knowledge gaps through targeted intervention and exam preparation.

You will be an engaging, patient educator with a Maths degree (1st class or 2:1) and a recognised teaching qualification, ready to inspire students to achieve a GCSE pass and reach their full potential immediately.

Qualifications

• First class or 2:1 Maths degree.
• QTS, PGCE or DTTLS with experience in FE.
• Experience teaching in a diverse setting.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• SEND and safeguarding experience desirable.
• DBS on update service.

Responsibilities

• Focus on exam preparation and targeted intervention.
• Improve GCSE outcomes through adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
• Help students build confidence to secure a GCSE pass.
