Job summary

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting a confident GCSE Maths Tutor to provide targeted 1:1 support to a learner in Wirral. The successful tutor will help the learner strengthen their mathematical understanding, address gaps in knowledge and develop greater confidence ahead of their GCSE studies.

This placement requires delivering tailored GCSE Maths tuition, identifying strengths and development areas, supporting exam preparation and revision, explaining concepts clearly, and

Qualifications

• Strong GCSE Maths subject knowledge.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience.
• Experience supporting secondary-aged learners.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to adapt lessons to individual needs.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Two professional child-related references.
