Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a knowledgeable GCSE Maths Intervention Tutor to provide focused 1:1 support to learners in Halton. The role involves identifying gaps, delivering targeted interventions, and helping learners build the skills and confidence to progress towards GCSE goals.

You should have strong GCSE Maths knowledge, experience teaching or tutoring secondary learners, and be able to explain concepts clearly.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge across the GCSE Maths curriculum.
• Experience teaching or tutoring secondary-aged learners.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to Work in the UK and two professional child-related references.

The role is suited to a Maths specialist who can identify gaps in understanding, deliver targeted intervention and help learners build the skills and confidence needed to progress towards their GCSE goals.
