Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a knowledgeable GCSE Maths Intervention Tutor to provide focused 1:1 support to learners in Halton. You will identify gaps, deliver targeted intervention and help students build the skills and confidence needed to progress towards GCSE goals.

The role targets a Maths specialist skilled in adapting explanations, developing learning plans, and tracking progress for ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge across the GCSE Maths curriculum.
• Experience teaching or tutoring secondary-aged learners.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience supporting learners with additional needs desirable.
• Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one desirable.
• Right to Work in the UK and two professional child-related references.
