Role Overview

This role is ideal for someone who dislikes slow-paced environments and wants to build a career where their efforts positively impact others. Enthusiasm for teaching and going the extra mile to ensure the best student experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver GCSE Maths programs via video calls, using pre-prepared lesson plans (small group and 1:1 classes)
2. Communicate student progress to parents via email, phone, and video calls
3. Organize and deliver additional 1:1 catch-up sessions for struggling students
4. Cover sessions for absent tutors during free periods
5. Mark tests and provide feedback
6. Collaborate with the team to keep our program competitive

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK
• At least 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience with UK students and a solid understanding of the UK education system
• Valid DBS certificate
• Proven track record of achieving above-average student results
• Concise, approachable tuition style
• Laptop and touchscreen tablet with pen
• Positive, enthusiastic, and charismatic personality
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, adaptable environment
• Strong communication skills
• A great sense of urgency
• Proactive attitude
• Referral program participation
• Fully remote work setup

Location & Availability

• Fully remote, within suitable UK time zones; travel encouraged if desired

• Full-time, permanent, salaried position (not part-time or second job)
• Monday to Friday, 4pm-9pm UK time
• Two 1-hour team meetings during weekdays
• Approx. 10 hours of flexible admin work outside scheduled hours
• Occasional weekend calls as needed
