Job summary

Philosophy Education LTD. are seeking a qualified and experienced FE Maths Teacher to join a large North London 6th form college, teaching GCSE Maths and resits to 16–18 year olds. The role is full-time, 3 days per week (days to be confirmed), with ASAP start in Haringey.

You will handle preparation, planning and delivery of the Maths A Level curriculum, monitor progress, and liaise with a supportive teaching team and SLT to sustain high attainment. QTS/QTLS/PGCE or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS/PGCE or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge across Maths A Level and GCSE.
• Proactive and engaging teaching approach.
• Effective classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach GCSE Maths and A Level/AS resits to 16–18 year olds.
• Plan and prepare lessons, monitor progress and provide feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental targets.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and support staff to raise attainment.
