Philosophy Education LTD. is seeking a qualified FE Maths Teacher for a large 6th Form college in North London (Haringey) to teach GCSE Maths resits and Functional Skills. The role is 3 days a week, ASAP start, with days TBC.

You will be responsible for planning, delivering engaging lessons, exam preparation, coursework, homework, and student progress, working within a supportive team and contributing to curriculum development.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status (QTS/QTLS/PGCE or equivalent).
• Strong subject knowledge in maths.
• Proactive and engaging teaching approach.
• Strong classroom management for an inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication with students and staff.
• Ability to use ICT effectively in lessons.

Responsabilités

A large, popular 6th form college in North London are looking for a qualified and experienced FE Maths Teacher to join their staff team to teach GSCE resits &; Functional Skills.

The Role

In this role you will be a full-time Maths Teacher taking responsibility for preparation, planning and teaching the GCSE Maths resits &; Functional Skills. You will prepare students for exams, coursework, homework, student monitoring, and where appropriate, curriculum development. The expectation is that high levels of student attainment will be achieved. You will join a supportive core subjects’ team and will have good support from the senior leadership team.

The school are looking for a Maths teacher with the following:

• QTS / QTLS / PGCE or other relevant teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge across all sciences
• A proactive and engaging teaching approach
• Strong classroom management to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with students
• Ability to use ICT effectively.
