Philosophy Education LTD. is seeking a qualified FE Maths Teacher for a large 6th Form college in North London (Haringey) to teach GCSE Maths resits and Functional Skills. The role is 3 days a week, ASAP start, with days TBC.

You will be responsible for planning, delivering engaging lessons, exam preparation, coursework, homework, and student progress, working within a supportive team and contributing to curriculum development.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status (QTS/QTLS/PGCE or equivalent).
• Strong subject knowledge in maths.
• Proactive and engaging teaching approach.
• Strong classroom management for an inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication with students and staff.
• Ability to use ICT effectively in lessons.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, plan and deliver GCSE Maths resits and Functional Skills lessons.
• Prepare students for exams, coursework, and homework, monitor progress.
• Contribute to curriculum development and work within a supportive team.
