Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic GCSE English & Maths Tutors to support secondary-aged students across Knowsley through personalised 1:1 tuition. You’ll help learners prepare for their GCSE examinations by delivering engaging lessons that strengthen subject knowledge, improve confidence and close learning gaps. Each tuition programme is tailored to the needs of the individual student.

Location: Knowsley | Hours: 5-15 hours per week | Start: September 2026 | Duration: Ongoing

Qualifications

• Experience teaching GCSE English and/or Maths.
• QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).
• Excellent curriculum knowledge
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver GCSE English & Maths tuition in 1:1 sessions across Knowsley.
• Tailor tuition programmes to individual learners’ needs and gaps.
• Help students prepare for GCSE examinations and build confidence.
